Susie was raised in Southern California and lived in Las Vegas for the early part of her life. Before beginning her singing career, she toured as The Maid by The Fire and Mary understudy in Jesus Christ Superstar, and appeared in the role of Maid by the Fire in the film of Jesus Christ Superstar.
