Album

It really does compliment the whole album. Complete your Gwar collection. The album is their first album on Metal Blade Records and was released on January 8, 1990. Its overall an insanely hilarious track, with clever punch lines lining the track left and right, and a game show type tune to the guitars. Considered GWARs magnum opus, 1990s Scumdogs of the Universe features a more solid and sleek thrash metal style compared to the hardcore punk of their debut album, as well as much cleaner and clearer production by Ron Goudie. As twisted as songs like Maggots, Vlad the Impaler, and Slaughterama are, Gwar is never genuinely scary, but rather humorous and goofy. Several important characters within GWAR lore are introduced on this album. 13 tracks 51:50. Songs in album Gwar - Scumdogs Of The Universe 1990. The Salaminizer. Sleazy P. Martini is featured in this track, and this song is basically about a game show involving the killing of Nazi skinheads and hippies. Gwar discography all. Лента с персональными рекомендациями и музыкальными новинками, радио, подборки на любой вкус, удобное управление своей коллекцией. A classic Thrash Cd. This album also contains Gwars experimentation with samples. While the album itself is devoid of a central story, several important characters within GWARs line-up are introduced. Death Pod is another interesting track, as it pulls this concept album of terrorism and destruction together. Metal 1990. Gwar - The Salaminizer. The lyrics of Scumdogs explore GWARs ever-expanding lore as well as other obscene, depraved activities. The 4th track, Slaughterama, is definitely one of the better tracks on this album. GWARs magnum opus, 1990s Scumdogs of the Universe features a more solid and sleek thrash metal style compared to the hardcore punk of their debut album, as well as much cleaner and clear production by Ron Goudie. Bummer, first pressing of this was apparently damaged in shipping, have to wait until end of week for Metal Blade to ship me a new copy. Not sure if this will affect the number of copies of this version
Sounds like a decent amount were damaged. I was talking with Tina from Metal Blade about my order because it was well past the preorder date and it still had not shipped. She said that this (the red/ white splatter) was the only version damaged in shipping and that she was sorry and they would ship new ones out to people by the end of the week. Just confirmed today that mine is on its way. I asked if they had to press more since the first batch was damaged, and still have not received a reply. As long as mine gets to my house safe and sound I'll be happy. Just wanted to put this out there in case other people were wondering what the delay was about
That's the first I've heard about damage in shipping! Were there a large number of these damaged, or just yours?

My copy is signed by Beefcake, Techno, and Balsac on the front cover. Slymenstra signed the back insert and wrote, "Spanking the pants of little boys Tour 99."

Nice, you still got it?

If I must say, most rugged bass clarinet and clarinet 1st takes on such a recording, ever! "Love Surgery." One take, on the spot, damn! I was playing with the "Slow City Idiots" in the Metro, across from the GWAR Slave Pit, the first band I ever played in (idiots). Ron Goudie handed me a card and I played at "In your ear " studio for 1/2 hour. Huge thrill! I made $40. I had never heard such a pro sound! Wow! I first saw GWAR at "Throttle" magazine. Super 8 film on the wall in '85. Free speech, satire, theatre. That was a thrill. Cal
